Pretend單字概述與用法：
pretend有兩個詞性。當動詞時，語意為假裝、裝作，做出某種行為或表情，以使人相信某事是真實的，即使它不是; 或是裝作擁有某種品質、狀態或感情。其後可以接子句或不定詞當受詞。當形容詞時，語意為想像的、不真實的，是非正式跟口語的用法，常用於兒童遊戲的情景。pretend的三態為：pretend / pretended / pretended。

不及物動詞：假裝、裝作(少見，較為口語，常用於進行式，如：She is only pretending.她只是在假装。)
形容詞：想像的、不真實的(非正式、口語)

pretend to listen假裝聽例句：He pretended to listen to the teacher while thinking about something else.他一邊想著別的事情，一邊假裝在聽老師講課。
pretend to like假裝喜歡例句：I pretended to like the meal just to be polite to the host.我假裝喜歡這頓飯，只是為了對主人有禮貌。
pretend to be surprised假裝驚訝例句：I had to pretend to be surprised when they threw me a surprise party, even though I already knew about it.即使我已經知道了，當他們為我舉辦驚喜派對時，我還得假裝驚訝。
